The Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture, Umudike on wednesday, 3rd
July joined other universities in the on going ASUU strike, the strike
which was announced in the ten colleges of the university at exactly 1'
00 pm by the SUG officials was like a shock to the students because they
thought they had escaped the strike.
Nevertheless, students refused to go home because of the thought of starting their exam on the 29th.
A 100 student who give his name as Iloka Obinna when interviewed by the school radio, protested and lamented that the university should have at least allowed them to finish their forth coming examination so as to maintain the smooth running of the university calender.
