The University of Ilorin invites all candidates who have applied for
admission into the University as First Choice either through UTME or
Direct Entry and scored a minimum of 180 in the 2013 UTME to hereby
apply for the 2013/2014 Post-UTME screening for the institution.
Candidates who chose University of Ilorin as their Second Most Preferred Institution should be on the lookout for information on the University website.
Registration for the Pre-admission screening commences immediately and ends on Sunday 14th July, 2013. You are however advised by Myschool Team to begin registration as from 2nd July when all issues and details are sorted out by the institution.
The Pre-admission Screening Exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, 15th to Saturday 20th July, 2013 using Computer Based Test (CBT) platform at Ilorin and Lagos Centres.
The deadline for the online registration is 14th July, 2013. However, candidates awaiting results but who have registered on or before 14th July, 2013 have the opportunity to submit their results online on or before 15th August, 2013 when the portal will be closed.
Candidates must have:
- Scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2013 UTME for all courses except those for which higher cut off marks have been specified on the University website;
- Made the University of Ilorin their first choice either at UTME or Direct Entry (DE) and;
- Obtained Five (5) Credits in relevant ‘O ’ Level subjects, at not more than two sittings except in MBBS where only one sitting is acceptable.
How to register for UNILORIN 2013/2014 Post UTME
Registration is online on the university portal at the payment of a total of N2,000. All candidates are advised to click on Pre-Admission Screening Instructions and to carefully read the Registration Instructions:
1. Click on ADMISSION displayed on the left hand side of the screen
2. On Admission Menu displayed, click Pre-Admission Screening Instructions and read carefully.
3. Type in your JAMB Registration Number and SURNAME in the boxes provided. Carefully type in your JAMB Registration Number as any error committed will not allow the display of your details.
Thereafter,
1. UTME candidates should click on the Get Details button for your JAMB information;
2. DE candidates should click OK button on the dialog box displayed and enter your names; and
3. Click on Make Payment link to go to WEBPAY page. Note: UTME Candidates who are qualified for the course originally chosen can proceed to make payment by supplying the required information. However, UTME Candidates who are not qualified for the course originally chosen are advised to change their course as indicated on the payment page.
Note the sum of N2,000 is charged for change of course.
How To Make Payment
A. Select your ATM card type (e.g Verve or Master Card).
B. Enter your Card Number.
C. Enter Card Expiry Date and the card CVV2 (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card and lastly enter your card pin; and
D. Then click on Pay.
Pls note: (Do not Refresh your browser while the process is going on to avoid multiple deductions from your account. If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart again).
After Login, click on Continue Registration Link on the main menu.
Fill in your other bio-data and necessary details truthfully on the webpage. All candidates should upload their Passports by clicking on Browse button and select your picture. Your Passport must not be more than 20KB.
On completion of bio-data. click on Next Step button then click OK on the message dialog box.
All DE candidates should complete the Institution of choice and click on Save then click OK on the message dialog box.
On completion of choice of Institution click Next Step button.

1. Direct Entry candidates are required to select their Higher Academic Qualification(s) from the drop down and click on Save. On the dialog box click OK;
2. To add more Higher Academic Qualifications click on qualifications drop down to select your additional qualifications click on save; and
3. Click on Next Step.
4. All candidates (UTME and DE) are required to supply their O/L details as follows:
5. Pick Number of sitting(s) by clicking on the drop-down button
6. Enter all the required O/L details; and
7. Click on Submit button then click OK on the message dialog box.
8. Click Scheduling Tab. All candidates must select a screening centre from the drop-down menu. Note an alert will be immediately sent to your e-mail and phone number provided in your bio-data.
9. Click Print Tab to print out the following:
10. Pre-Admission Screening Registration form;
- Scheduling Slip; and
- Payment Receipt.
Note: All candidates are expected to come to the screening centre with the printouts.
Important Side Notes
- Candidates for the pre-admission screening exercise are advised to be decently dressed. Candidates with indecent dressing will not be allowed into the screening premises
- Phones and all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises.
- Only registered candidates for the screening exercise will be allowed into the screening premises.
- Accommodation are available for Pre Admission screening candidates at the rate of N1,000.00 or N3,000.00 per night.
